An open-source Python package for analysis and visualization of integrated-assessment scenarios forum@pyam.groups.io
The open-source python package pyam provides a range of diagnostic tools and functions for analyzing and visualizing scenarios from your favorite integrated-assessment or energy system model(s). This group is used for announcements, discussions of feature requests and extensions, and as a helpdesk for new users.
The pyam package was initiated by Matthew Gidden and Daniel Huppmann under the auspices of the Integrated Assessment Modeling Consortium (IAMC). The first applications using the package were in support of the IPCC's Special Report on Global Warming of 1.5°C (SR15, see a suite of Jupyter notebooks on GitHub) and the Horizon 2020 CRESCENDO project (cf. Gidden et al., 2019).
